A guide to learning, audio, local progress and Premium.
Contact
Koreloom is operated by Hyukjae Choi. For support or privacy questions, email inverselab.support+koreloom@gmail.com.
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Koreloom version and the steps that led to the issue. A screenshot can help. Avoid sending payment details, private recordings or unnecessary personal information.
Start learning
Open Today and start today's practice. Listen to the phrase, read its English explanation and example, and try saying it. Recording is optional. Recall reviews appear when there are phrases to revisit. In Hangul, choose a foundation lesson, play the listening-check sound, then select an answer.
Listen and record
Korean audio is synthesized by your iPhone. Listen and Slow provide two playback speeds. If a Korean voice is unavailable, follow the app's message to add a voice in iPhone Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices. Settings labels can vary by iOS version.
Microphone access is requested when you choose to record. If permission is off, enable microphone access for Koreloom in iPhone Settings. Daily practice can be completed without recording. Listen back locally, choose Record again to replace the recording, or finish/leave the session to trigger temporary-file cleanup. Recording and cleanup details.
Optional AI feedback
AI feedback is currently unavailable. Local listening, recording and daily learning remain available.
If the service is enabled, you will first choose whether to allow voice sharing, then request feedback. Your current recording will pass through Cloudflare to OpenAI for Korean transcription; the recognized words and target phrase will be used to create feedback in English. It compares recognized words and does not measure your accent or individual sounds. Device verification, network access and service limits apply. Withdraw voice-sharing consent in Settings.
Premium, plans and the seven-day trial
Daily practice and Hangul foundations are available without a subscription. Premium adds additional phrase practice, full phrase history and phrases to revisit. Open Settings → Explore Premium to see available plans, durations and localized prices. If plans do not load, use Reload plans and try again later.
Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial when the offer appears on the purchase screen. Eligibility is determined by Apple, and each subscriber can redeem only one introductory offer per subscription group. Not every user is eligible. Review the offer and renewal price in the app and Apple's confirmation before subscribing. Apple's subscription offer guidance.
After a free trial, the subscription automatically renews at the selected plan's displayed localized price unless canceled. Payment is handled by Apple. To avoid trial renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, as described in Apple's cancellation guidance. You can manage or cancel through your Apple Account; the timing and terms shown by Apple apply.
Use Restore purchases in Settings or the paywall with the Apple Account that purchased the subscription. Settings → Manage subscription opens Apple's management sheet for an active subscription. Resetting learning progress or removing the app does not cancel a subscription. Terms of Use.
Reminders and progress
Under Settings → Daily reminder, choose a time and enable the reminder. Notifications require permission and use your local time. Turn off reminders in the same section. If permission was denied, review your iPhone notification settings for Koreloom.
Progress is stored locally. Settings → Reset learning progress deletes phrase history, saved speaking notes, recall progress, Hangul completion and milestones from this iPhone. Purchases, voice-sharing preferences and any separate device-verification records are not reset. If progress cannot be opened, close and reopen the app and contact support before deleting it; removing the app may lose local progress. Privacy choices and deletion limits.
